Sooo I felt obligated to wax my car for the first time since buying it last year... the nice weather inspired me. I think she looks OK!!! It was just a quicky. LOL

Left side waxed, right side not waxed yet. Big difference!!

Swirlies! =(
You should get that buffed out this summer! It will really improve your paint's shine.
The wax on the left does a pretty decent job of hiding the swirls though.

Nice job!

Try to get a buffer of some sort and it will help really minimize some of the swirls.

Looks good.

I picked up some Meguiar's NXT 2.0 Wax. (crappy tire, walmart etc) It's not the best kind, but I suppose a better brand if you will. I don't think there is any Caranuba Wax in it either...

Also, I know - the swirls. SO UNSIGHTLY!!!!! I bought the car used, off lease and I really don't think the dude took good care of the car. Grr. But it makes it fun for me making it sparkle like it's supposed to.

(BOOO why is it going to rain tomorrow!?!?!?!?) :loco

Pretty impressive work. And Meguirs's isn't that bad. Its definitely better than Turtle Wax or not doing it at all IMO.

About 2 hours, but I could have taken longer. I wasn't planning on waxing the whole thing, just the hood as a test. A quick job still. I'll take longer/better care next time. :bana
