Who has installed HID's?

So I just got my kit and tried to install it but I have run into a problem. The stock bulb (h7) plugs into a base and that base plugs into the harness. This base is what secures the bulb in place. My HID kit is an H7 replacement but does not plug into my stock base so if I try and secure it without this base it just sits there loose. Did I get the wrong kit? is there something I am missing?

You are missing the spacer.... search the site and you find lots of info on that!

Also... I believe the model u have (same as mines) requires a mod for HIDs so that they DRL system does not kill the ballasts (something like that). I can't remember what exactly it is, buh i think other members with a 04-06 GT Sedan/Hatch can help you out.

Something like using small capacitors, or running it off the hi-beams, or fog lights. Cant remember...

And yeah I think it's a spacer you need. There's supposedly some kind of "washer" trick, I have yet to find out what that is.
