Not me!!! The car :P Been losing memory everytime i shut the car off... on GM cars (which I am used to working on) its usually the cig lighter fuse... but the cig lighter still works in the MZ3, is it a different circuit on these cars? If so, which one is it??

What is losing memory? Aftermarket deck? Yep the cig on the 3 loses power after the key is turned to off.

Orange/Black – 12v constant (I think)
I think you have to tap into the orange/black wire, but I'm not 100% sure as I haven't had to do it. I'm not sure what that turns into when you have your wiring harness adapter connected.

oh no.. its all hooked up, and has been since september. Just now it has an intermittent memory loss problem. I am pretty sure the circuit that the memory lead is hooked up to is the "room" circuit, the fuse is located in the engine bay. I pulled it out to check it, and lost presets, clock etc etc again, so that has to be it. If it happens again, I may try using some dielectric grease to improve the connection and protect it from moisture

maybe your deck has been smoking too much of the electric lettuce? :chuckle

It seems to be holding fine now... I pulled the "room" fuse under the hood, and that erased all the memory again... but ever since i did that, its kept all memory.. maybe it was loose before?? I dunno...

that room fuse controlls a wjole pile of different options you would have had more trouble if it was just that. But i guess keep up posted
