Was just popping by MSN Autos and saw this in regards to the Korea Auto Show:

http://en.autos.sympatico.msn.ca/auto-shows/article.aspx?cp-documentid=18959053

And you thought the new 3 was all smiles?

The Hyundai Will Blue Concept gives it a run for its money!

and the Samsung:

Looks to me like a Hyundai Elantra or an old style Accord. Oh well if Mitsubishi could do it Samsung can too?

Well considering Samsung started off as a company that exported salted fish i wouldnt be surprised if they made a car :)

Who would have thought Sony would make TV's and electronics... they use to sell rice cookers! lol

I like the samsung car looks pretty decent.. the Hyundai one is nice too, at least its not a sissy smile like the 2010 M3 :chuckle

Yea i'd buy it. I am impressed with all their other products, don't see why their cars would have any problems.

I used own a Samsung Re-branded Nissan Maxima.
Samsung automotive company is now owned by Renault due to silly political situation that occurred many years ago.

Every Samsung products will start out like crap (expected) and they literally improve it so much within a couple years, it's comparable to the ones that have been making it for so long.

A good company can expand and change as the times change. Nintendo was founded in 1889, haven't been making video games all that time.

[edit (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Mazda&action=edit&section=2)] History

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/d/d8/Mazda_head_office_2008.JPG/180px-Mazda_head_office_2008.JPG (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Mazda_head_office_2008.JPG) http://en.wikipedia.org/skins-1.5/common/images/magnify-clip.png (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Mazda_head_office_2008.JPG)

Mazda began as the Toyo Cork Kogyo Co., Ltd, founded in Japan in 1920. Toyo Cork Kogyo renamed itself to Toyo Kogyo Co., Ltd. in 1927. Toyo Kogyo moved from manufacturing machine tools to vehicles, with the introduction of the Mazda-Go (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mazda_Mazdago) in 1931. Toyo Kogyo produced weapons for the Japanese military throughout the Second World War (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_World_War), most notably the series 30 through 35 Type 99 rifle (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Type_99_rifle). The company formally adopted the Mazda name in 1984, though every automobile sold from the beginning bore that name. The Mazda R360 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mazda_R360) was introduced in 1960, followed by the Mazda Carol (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mazda_Carol) in 1962.

That would be so kewl if our cars came stock with a Type 99 rifle. Would make rush hour so much more tolerable.

Dealer Offers Free Gun With Car Purchase

BUTLER, Mo. -- A local car dealer is holding a controversial promotion involving guns.

Max Motors in Butler is offering anyone who buys a car the choice of $250 in gas or a free semi-automatic handgun.

"Like I say, it's a choice -- protection or gas," said Walter Moore with Max Motors.

Moore said he came up with the gas or guns promotion.

"We got high gas prices, theft, carjackings, innocent people getting hurt," Moore told KMBC's Chris Nagus.

So far, the handgun is a more popular choice.

"Right now were running 80 percent toward the gun," Moore said.

"Love guns, we all need to have guns," said Jerry Hertzog, who was buying a new truck. "Guns or gas or fuel, I'll take the gun anytime."

But the idea isn't popular with everyone. One viewer told KMBC that he believes the promotion is dangerous.

"I don't understand what's the bad idea. Telling people they have a right to protect themselves," Moore said.

Moore said most of his customers already own weapons.

"I get in a vehicle to bid a trade, there are guns in the seats, guns in the back windows. Everybody has a gun -- there's no backlash," Moore said.

Moore said the dealership will hand the customer a certificate to get the gun, but you must pass a background check.

The local police chief said he is OK with the promotion as long as the weapons aren't handed out at the dealership
