Did you see the review of the next car they did? It was a pontiac wave g3 that had less than half of the features of the 3 and was only $2000 less. if you financed for 5 years that averages out to about $33 more /month and you get a way better car. I hate to sound like i'm kicking a dead horse but no wonder that they can't make money. Oh and by the way that car ( the g3 is actually a pontiac badged daewoo!) Even they were asking why would you get that car instead of the 3, and they couldn't even give you a convincing arguments. Even the top of the line g3 doesn't have as many features as a base mazda 3 and costs $2000 more!

Froggy- you are so right.
Also the mazda 3 GT-E (with nav package) is a 2000$ upgrade from the regular gt model and if you were to add the options after the fact they would be insane amounts of money. This is why i am so biased on North american cars rather then Jap cars no wonder why the american auto brands are going under. The American manufacturers tell you what you want they dont listen to what people are asking for
The G3 106 HP 1.6L engine WTF? thats such a waste even they say the car has to think about accelerating to pass a truck
The Matrix is BS to i am driving it currently as a rental and it sucks drinks gas like no tommorro and doesnt go anywhere lol
Everything we already know.
Take a good platform and improve upon it and you have a winner.
Styling is a hit or miss but that's what makes it memorable.
