View Full Version : Which intake and where?

I would like to purchase an intake. I've asked around a few people for quotes on them and such, but I wouldn't mind getting a better deal if possible. I'm not too particular about which one, but I'd prefer the mazdaspeed first, and then any of the other ones following that. Only thing is the mazdaspeed is more expensive for no real difference in performance. So where do people usually get them from and which one to get? Oh and if possible I'd do a sponsor, and if not a sponsor at least getting it from canada...ordering from the states is my last choice (as I hate getting shit over the boarder).

Thanks :)

there's the prm Cai there's a gentleman on the forum who is doing a group buy for one. His name is Gerry but for the life of me I can't seem to remember his handle. I think they are going for like $200 and change, I'm on the list waiting for one. Doing research on the forum I don't think anyone has had theirs give them a CEL ( check engine light). that looks like the best deal around

If you're looking at an SRI, I'd look at the Cosmo one as it's almost the same as the SRI & 1/2 the price.

can't edit the damn post....stupid.

I ment that if you are looking for an SRI look ath te cosmo over the PRM as it's 1/2 the price (Cosmo is in Montreal)

I love the sound of the PRM. Great in the low and mid range. Also, the SRI's are easier to access the filter.
