$1500 Cash... What to do?

Just grabbed some Eibach prolines... THAT'S IT. I'M DONE. j/k, got some extra dough lying around... any ideas? Thinking the F5 CAI, water pump and alternator pulleys, and maybe get a ms3 exhaust customed onto my '05 GS... I dunno. My car is auto, so I don't really want to go all-out. Only got $1500, so can't even go all out if I wanted to. :blush

if you are that eager to spend cash. give it to me and consider it spent! :)

look for aesthetic mods like lips, skirts, bodykits, wheels? Since it doesn't seem like you prioritize performance mods as much.

give your car some flare!

Handling:
- Struts
- Rear swaybar
- good tires

Power:
- cbe
- header
- cai

Stopping:
- hawk hps
- ss brakelines
- upgrade your brake fluid

Utilize the power you are making:
- rear motor mount
- tranny mount
- lca bushings
- pulleys
- stage 1 clutch / light weight flywheel
- bsd

The best thing is to ask yourself what you want from your car; then research what is available. Otherwise, you may end up blowing your wad of cash and wanting something else. You may end up regretting what you have bought if you don't put some thought into it.

I would save the cash for a rainy day......

..... but if you really want to spend it on your ride and want to utilize the cash as much as possible..... buy a set of used decent rims, HID's, and tints. You'll still have cash left over from the $1500 :)

kidding aside. Save the money unless you've got a good job! but if you want a CBE, I got a megnaflow on my 06 sedan (auto) and you'll like it , the sound alone .... hmmmm :blush it's worth it talk to SSG for an awesome deal install is like 20mins or less ...he's the man

Unless your job trully is on the chopping block then take advantage of retailers needing to sell their inventory and willing to reduce prices/interest rates to do so! If everyone starts getting scared and sticking their heads in the sand holding on to their money and afraid to spend it will just snowball and make things worse.

tax free savings account, or rrsp's... then take whatever you make from your investment and or tax credit from your RRSP and use that tax free money for mods. or if you haven't already, pay off your car or any other loans

If you are set on spending the money on your car I would go with asthetics.

Going faster is something you can't use all that often, at least safely.

Having your car looking great you will appreciate all of the time.

Rims / Tires, tint, eyebrows, LED's whatever turns your crank.

i have two bent OEM Mazda 5 rims according to the tire store that just did a rebalance and alignment after a pothole incident ... how does one go about repairing a bent wheel?

there are places that specialize in fixing bent rims but I think they are quite costly.

To be honest u cant really do much. A nice set of rims cost 1100+ with tires. And your left with a couple hundred. Tints is really nice.

So say:
rims & tires = 1200
tints = 200
hids = 100

Done and done. After getting hids and driving a car without them, you'll be like, "What the hell, are my headlights even on?"

What about a quality 4 chan Amp with High level inputs and a new set of quality comps.. that should eat up most of your 1500bux... later you can add a small 10" sub in a sealed box and run it off the 2 channels your not using (bridged)..
Aside from a different deck... thats all the equipment most hardcore Sound Quality setups use...
Great Sound quality you can enjoy at any speed...

Not saying don't' spend it on your car, last place the people would say that... but it doesn't seem like you really" want" anything, more like just wanting to spend it, in that case save it for now. When the time comes where you're more sure of what you want to spend your money on, then spend it :)
