Change filter only?

If I were to only change the oil filter, how much oil would come out and how much oil stays in the filter?

Well capacity of oil only is 3.9L, oil and filter is 4.3L. So you are looking at losing 0.4L along with whatever sticks to your drain pan. If you do this make sure you filter the oil as it goes back in as it will bring crud off the bottom of the pan with it when it comes out.
