Anyone else think the Mazda 3 (2007 Sport in my case) has cup holders that are too big? My usual water bottle is always bouncing around, so I have to keep the lid on.

I end up stuffing some napkins so the water bottle sits upright. Are there any inserts of other creative things people are doing?

Use the bottle holder in the door pocket? Foam insulator sleeve?

Buy a bigger water bottle? :chuckle

Just yoking...I have the same issue with the center cup holders, they don't hold the slim water bottles very well. If I have some napkins I put them around the bottle otherwise I just let it bounce around!

I was quite pleased today to see that the console cup holders hold the 700ml cans of Arizona Iced Tea perfectly. Also nicely sized for a XL Timmies.

If we are seriously discussing cup holders, I bought my Mazda based on the 8 cup holders I saw throughout the car, however Honda has the best design, you can hold a can of coke or a big gulp and the pinchers hold it in place snugly, yet it's easy to pick up...I guess napkins work too:chuckle
