I finally had these installed yesterday at Jimmy's... I'm glad I didn't try to do these myself lol.

Only complication we ran into was discovering one of my bump stomps had been broken with the stock suspension... DISAPPOINTING!! The stock springs are waaay too soft for this car...

So after Jimmy bolted everything back up, I took it for a test drive. I was expecting the worst: kidney crunching harsh ride... and boy was I surprised when I didn't get that! The stock springs actually seemed softer but with this firm follow-up that almost comes out of no where... I guess that's the whole 'progressive springs' thing. It's a very nice feeling... Personally I love the ride...

I haven't really pushed the car yet other than taking a few onramps about 15-20km higher than I could before lol... But I'm trying to take it easy, I need to get my wheels aligned in a week... I should have thrown this kit on while I had my winter tires on still lol.

Jimmy was great as per all his reviewsl. He managed to come up with another bump stomp from another 3... Unfortunately it isn't as stiff, but it's better than a broken one... (I still remember the pot hole that caused that!)

Handling isn't as eye opening as I thought it would be, but then again I haven't pushed the car yet... The car stays level while taking onramps, and that's very noticable (And much welcomed)... My only regret is that I didn't get my mount done!

LOL I was trying to get a close up of the sway bar... Jimmy was probably like "wtf... Car's up there!"

I can't wait until everything settles and the alignment's done then I'm totally hitting up the track :) Yesterday the car was pulling to the right very slightly, today it seems to be back to almost normal... So things noticiably settling...

Thanks for hooking me up with these! You may soon be the end of my marriage, but at least you've supplied me with countless toys ;)

BTW for anyone thinking about doing the Mazda3 hatch cargo tray -> MS3 transplant, hold off for a little bit lol. I discovered a massive flaw in the fitment ;) Look at the first picture and try to guess what that flaw is. I'll give you a hint: It's silver.

Pat should start throwing in little trinkets for the ladies so whenever we pick up a car part, we're actually getting something for the wife too...

So here's what it looked like the day of the install (Before Picture):

Here's 4 days later:

It's a bad shot, makes the car look WAY lower than it is... But you get the idea. It's noticable. =) I'm going to try and get my alignment done tomorrow...

Thx guys... I'm loving the kit. I've finally had a chance to play with it a bit and the car handles REALLY nicely. At least as good as my Probe on full Tein coilovers did.

Now that it's settled, the honey moon "The ride is softer than I expected" feeling is over and the borderline kidney crushing has commenced ;)
