This is great for trade-in value but you should definitely get more than this if you sold it privately. Even insurance "should" give you more.

I have the program on my computer at work (I work for a vehicle finance company) haha I always check out black book values for fun.

Mine is still going strong.. ^5.

guys you have to remember that mazdagirl is asking for black book value. not private sale market value. that being said the site is pretty accuruate.

my car was shown here as 12,000 - 14,000 and insurance told me that it's worth 14,000.

if you are settling a claim with insurance, yes you can ask for more and they may give it to you so they don't have to fix your car. but that is beside the point of what the car's black book value is.

like i said, black book value. which doesn't take into account mods on your car.
