just wondering..

the contacts you wear..do you change them everyday or are they the same pair and when you go to sleep you put them in solution? When i wore contacts before i only had one pair and i put them in solution every night and the next day my eye would be itchy as F***...

I have never taken any allergy medication what so ever... so I can't exactly help you there... but I am allergic to a few things.

I take allergy pills everyday. I have to or I will probably die cus I am pretty sure I am allergic to everything on this planet lol I use the life brand ones from shoppers, extra strength 24 hour ones. They are cheaper than the name brand ones and do the exact same thing.

Yeah same here but I find my contacts are helping me out and are reducing my allergies for the last 5 years.

The Aerius were $22.99!! I couldn't believe how expensive allergy medication was.. some even as high as $49.99. Some dude in the line in front of me bought 4 packs.. hahaha WOW.

I bought the Allegra - it was on sale!!

I can already feel the itchiness subsiding. Thanks for the allergy help :D It's the only time I ever get like this.. spring tiiiiiiime.

OH but the contact thing I can definitely relate with.... on an off topic note, is it just me or should eye care SERIOUSLY be covered?????? $140 for an eye exam?? Without contacts technically we're disabled, no? We can't work, can't drive, can't see 2 feet in front (well for some).... LUDACRIS!!!!!

I use the Exact branded pills from Loblaws/Superstore and have been for the last few years - works much better for me than Aerius, Allegra, etc.

Also, with contacts, I've switched to daily disposables. My eye doctor also told me that even though the solutions (for non-daily contacts) say no-rub, you should always rub them at least once/week to get all contaminants out. I find my eyes get itchier the older the monthly ones get.
