I'm not a big reader so what i read has to be good. last year I read a book called My sisters Keeper by Judi picout (sp). very good book. Ending is not what you would think . It was so good I had my son read this book for his english class.
Another on (but controversial and not for the light hearted ... my book club friends either hated it or loved it. "we need to talk about Kevin" cant remember the author

Some I'd recommend - they're on the 'oldies':
Catch 22 - Joseph Heller
Man In The Grey Flannel Suit - Sloan Wilson
Fahrenheit 451 - Ray Bradbury
The Naked and The Dead - Norman Mailer
Fear & Loathing In Las Vegas - Hunter S. Thompson
Manufacturing Content/Consent - Noam Chomsky
(and I've read all of these/working my way through Manfuacturing Content/Consent)

1984 by George Orwell
Animal Farm by George Orwell.
1984 is better (and longer).

+1
Also, couple of my favorites:
- Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (trilogy) by Douglas Adams if you feel like something entertaining on the funnier side. Good summer reading since you don't have to think too much about it unless you really want to. Oh and the book has very little to do with the movie they made a couple years back, so don't be discouraged if you saw it.
- The Divine Child by Pascal Bruckner - definitely less funny, or rather not at all funny read, but still one of my all time favorites.

Scar Tissue - Anthony Kiedis (autobiography of the chili peppers front man!!)
Fear Nothing/Seize the Night - Dean Koontz
Raw Shark Texts - Steven Hall
Buddha - Deepak Chopra
The Giver - Lois Lowry (easy, quick read)
I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell - Tucker Max (outrageous!! hahaha)

I'd like to get up to date on who the new popular Fantasy/Sci Fi writers are. I was always a big fan of Terry Brooks and alot of Isaac Asimov and Arthur C. Clarke stuff, but those guys are getting old school. Anyone read anything new and interesting from these genres lately?

What a book!
It's unlike anything you will ever read.
The premise of the story is that the main character of the book finds that the inside of his house is larger than the outside of his house.
I couldn't do it justice by explaining anymore.
This is a book that I think everyone should read.
It has to be the creepiest book I have ever read.
Let me know what you think.
