So with the release ATR, I was able to pick up a used dashhawk to start logging and eventually start tuning my car.

Now, I'm a total noob at this stuff, so to be honest, I have no idea what I should be looking for. What parameters should I be logging, and really what should I be looking for in terms of said parameters?

BAT's, AFR, KR, LTFT, STFT...It's all just gibberish to me right now...hahaha, and I really want to get this sorted out before I start messing around w/ my ECU.

Any assistance would be gladly appreciated, as I'm totally feeling like I'm in a little bit over my head with this. LOL.

BAT - Boost air temp
AFR - Air/Fuel ratio
KR - Knock retard
LTFT - Long-term fuel trim
STFT - Short-term fuel trim

Don't be intimidated by it all...I work at a bank, so if I can do it, so can you. =)

Start by applying the smooth throttle fixes first. Once you get more aquainted and comfortable with using ATR, it'll be cake.

Happy tuning bro!

Go to the MSD forums. They pulled the plug on support/development, but there is some info there that is useful for new users.

Now is there anywhere I can reference to give me idea of what these parameters need to be around for our cars?
