You have the Speed3 and you haven't redlined it yet! Kinda defeats the purpose of having one!

Well, if his MS3 is stock, not much need to redline it. It starts losing pull after about 5,800rpm, so you're better off shifting before redline to keep the car back in the peak of it's powerband. If you're bouncing it off the rev limiter, you're just slowing down.

Unless you drive it hard, you wont be able to find out the information you have stated. I took one for a test drive early this year and I certainly seen what it had through 3 gears!

Yah, true enough. Just stating that redline on the stock MS3 is not really where you want to be from an efficiency standpoint.
Well, yah, I can see why only 3 gears, because by the time you're done in 3rd, you're already well past any legal highway speed here in Ontario and close to having your license taken away for 50 over... :)

Babying? You might as well walk or take the bus and save your money if you plan on babying it. Thats kinda like buying a Ferrari for local driving.

^ LOL
Depends how he define babying the car.
I don't red line my car for 3-4 sec neither, but I do drive it hard for fun....and I do baby it in terms of caring but I won't kill it.
