Partsource is selling California Gold Pure Carnauba Wax for $8.39 due to a pricing error. The normal price is $25.99. Their flyer shows 10.49 less 20% 8.39 but shows a picture of the expensive Carnauba Wax. I bought the last tin from their Brampton store. They just gave it to me at $8.39. This is a very good deal - about 68% off.

So does it ring up as $8.39??
I don't get how you got it.

They have a picture of the better wax, but is the product code for the better wax?

I went to Napa Auto Parts today and saw it for 8.99. I was going to buy one to try but after repeated times reading how Flagrum praises the Turtle Wax Ice liquid polish, i bought a bottle to try

I don't think you saw the same wax. Probably use saw the Mothers Canauba Cleaner Wax or Paste Wax. I have never seen the wax I was refering to under $25.99. Its liquid variety goes for $22.

Let us know about how Turtle Wax Ice performed, especially how long the shine lasted.

This is the wax I was taking about http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/browse/4/Auto/CarWashingCleaning/CarPaintCare/PRD~0392864P/Mother%2527s%2BPure%2BCarnauba%2BPaste%2BWax%252C% 2B340g.jsp

That's definately a pricing error! I have purchased Mother's three step which includes the carnauba wax as the third step and goes for $8.99 each step, I use it once a year but it is in liquid form. The paste wax which you purchased is usually above $20 a tin!

Good find! but might have just been an error at the one store!

Turtle wax Ice is probably the easiest wax I've ever used and I've tried many!...Very easy to apply and just as easy to remove. It leaves no wax residue or dust whatsover and as previously mentioned you can wax the whole vehicle; Including any black plastic trim, moulding etc; with no worries of 'whiting' the plastic...I can do my complete vehicle in 30 minutes, it's that easy!

As for longevity; Last October I applied a coat of TWI and it lasted well into March (That's approximately 40 washes!!)...it still beaded water and still the surface was smooth to the touch and definately still showed a brilliant shine!!...maybe it's not the best out there, but an excellent product IMO.

Simply put. That review is 'PURELY HOGSHIT' for one thing, the picture is out of focus where the Ice is supposed to be and I can tell you from 'personal experience' it beads (repels) water better then most, so well infact that water won't cling to the sides and although it may not shine like 'some' high quality waxs it shines quite well...even months after the initial application.Futhermore, I do not recommend anyone apply Turtle wax Ice in the sun or NXT or whatever wax, as 'any' of them will dry too fast....thats guaranteed!!
