Keyed...

it seems that someone has keyed my car. there is a huge scratch line from the left side of the hatch door to the right:flaming. any way to fix this without spending too much money on it?

how deep is the scratch? Got any pics?

well most of it could be buffed out i hope, but theres certain parts of the scratch where my fingernail stops as i go down it. i was wondering what i could do about those. i will post pics if needed. it is really hard to see how deep the scratch is with pictures.

I guess, go to CT and grab a bottle of Quixx paint scratch remover. Check out the review on the product, it looks pretty impressive. Good luck!

An insurance claim for this is probably not worth it since you will have a deductible to pay. Try fixing the scratch yourself and if you can't, go to a detailing shop and get an estimate to see how much it would cost to have it fixed. At that point (with an estimate in hand) you can consider doing on insurance claim (again, depending on your deductible). But I really wouldn't bother putting in a claim for this since it will just raise your premiums later.
