It is more like a Mazda advertisement masquerading as a review.

Thats my config!

There are some companies out there that call themselves automotive journalists but are really just content providers. Many times their reviews are overwhemingly positive as they don't want to offend their advertisers who are usually car dealers.

Agreed... but since it's still relatively new and people are starting to look at them now that the 2009s are pretty much gone, there is information and pics of the car in the article.
I don't know about others, but I find the Mazda.ca site is short on information about the options available and what the trim level itemsactually include. I asked three dealers what the "Blackout Meter Set" was on the 2010 GT trim sheet, and got blank stairs each time. I figured it was probably like what Saab has where you can turn out all the dash backlights and just softly light the speedo/tach for night driving.
Picking my new 2010 GT up today after lunch, so I can test it out tonight!

On the GT trim, the numbers are lit up red, thus when the engine is turned off, the numbers fade away and are no longer visible. Nothing but a "cool" factor. ;)
Yep. Just got the car yesterday and that's it.... also, if you push the knob that adjusts display brightness, it switched to more blue than red and dims the rest of the dash/screens.
Lot of lights... ;)
