I think it's time to hit the dyno before I slap on more mods. Anyone interested? I was thinking of going back to the same place on St Claire or trying out APH...

Dont go back there. That place is a waste of time. I have been there twice and never got a proper reading. There are so many other places that you can go to that will give you a proper reading.

This place rocks, Advance Powehouse on Lawrence ave. 416-781-8671 or Dyna Motorsports. Just dont ever go back to KH rad!

Try DaSilva Racing at Brock Rd. and Bayley in Pickering. Fast, $80 for 3 pulls with wideband, consistent dynojet. They do it right.

Why waste your time and money, learn from others mistakes. The last time I went, it fealt like "a $60 parking ticket for running in somewhere for 30 seconds" a complete and utter rip off! No torque numbers and no reading over 5000 rpm where the power is made. wtf?

as long as you're untuned, give it a shot if you want...but I can attest, K&H CAN NOT consistently read AP cars.

yes it has been said that the AP tuned cars do have probs there, but on the same that fabio unmarried his AP and it ran fine, and as fabio said the untuned guys should not have a prob and im not tuned so im gonna give it a shot

i also wanna try another place just to see how close the numbers are between the 2 dynos

I was under the impression they tried to fix their AP problems by using an optical pick up sensor??

Either way, good thing you reminded me... I'm using an AP and will have to look elsewhere. I'll probably drop by APH next week.

It worked the first time Fobio returned. I was there. He must have meant he returned a second time and it didn't work. When I was there he only tried the beta 1.03 and the full 1.02 maps. As I recall, it was the full 1.03 maps that was giving the problems.

Anyway, WITHOUT an AP that dyno is NOT a waste of time and money and can read your car just fine. I'll most likely be going back there when I get some spare money cause I don't have the AP anymore. I'm going there to watch Vince's run today.

al dont bother going they called me yesterday and had to cancel the dyno day cuz they dont have enough cars to run a dyno day

FWIW, Mario was cool enough to PM me for Vince's contact to tell Vince that the dyno day is off. Also, in PM, Mario said he'll investigate the AP issue and how to have it read consistently. and Al, yes, I went back a second time, and both Big Dad and I couldn't get a proper dyno out of it.
