Ive had one for a year. They are OK. Many days went where I though I was filming and I wasn't. Also sound is either VERY LOW or too high and can't hear anything but distortion.

the only good thing about the GoPro is that it is weatherproof and, thus, good for mounting outside the car.
the one i have will only take non-SDHC cards up to 2GB, and they go through batteries quite quickly (better to get NiMH rechargeables) as i've had videos end abruptly because the batteries just up and quit.
here are my youtube vids taken with the GoPro (http://www.youtube.com/majesticbluento)

I can agree to everything said by my 2 friends above. I even take mine to the mountains and the batteries themselves are quite sensitive to low temps. So...bring plenty of ni-mh rechargeable batteries AND a charger. On a warm day, I've made a 1hr video before...no worries. On a relatively COOL day at Mt. Tremblant, it didn't even finish making it up the gondola before it ran out of juice.

good deal ... i only need it once to film myself sea-dooin :) just to see what it looks with a wide angle lens going over 6 foot waves and 30mph 360degree turns.

I picked one up last year for my drag car, here it is
What I love about it is when I get in the car I dont have to play around with it, just turn it on and press record (takes 2 secs)
