Agincourt Mazda Meet - SUNDAY, AUGUST 23RD STARTING AT 2PM

Hey all!!

Looking to host an Agincourt Mazda meet! We're talking BBQ (no ribs! we're in a recession! hehehe), massive parts and accessories sale, hassle free test drives for the 2010 M3's and good ol' socializing. I would love an opportunity to meet everyone and for them to meet our team!

August 23rd - 2pm on.

Karen, I think you mean 15th or 16th for the date.
The 16th is the same date as Meeting of Mazda's, so I would be happy to attend on the 15th.

Either Saturday or Sunday would be good for me. Like I said, I'll find a way to attend even if I am scheduled to work (I can always switch shifts IF schedules permit LOL). I'll know my work schedule closer to the day and I'll update accordingly. But yeah.. either way, I'll be there :)

And yeah, if it's the 16th, it's MoM... but maybe whoever's there who knows about your BBQ can let the MoM attendants know and maybe they would be able to swing by for a bit and chill hahaha

If you're looking at the 15th or 16th of August, you may not get as many to attend as opposed to the follwoing weekend when there isn't as many events going on. I believe Drift Mania is going on during the 15th and 16th at Downsview Park as well (on top of M.O.M.). Just offering my .02.....

August 23rd is CSCS

It is like import fest + 1/4 drag racing + circuit racing + drifting at Toronto Motorsport Park. Huge tuner event

Both Drift Mania and Canadian Sport Compact Series are 2 major events.
But consider this, one is being held in the GTA (Drift Mania at Downsview Park in the GTA), and the other is being held in Cayuga (CSCS).

Which event are TM3 members more likely to go to..... the one in the GTA, or one that is over an hour out of Toronto...?!?!?! I'm just being realistic. Both events are great and I'm sure the attendence will be high for most, but realistically I can see more TM3 members staying local..... hence my vote to make the BBQ Sunday August 23rd :)

Your line of thinking matches mine. Much like Meeting of Mazda's 2 years ago at Cayuga, TM3 had maybe 15 cars. At the local ones we've had 30..
Majority of members aren't interested in CSCS.

I just hope that when it does pull through, nobody will decide to rip it in and out of the dealership and attract attention that way. But yes, 15-20 people would be really good. I'm in for sure though so that takes care of one out of twenty :chuckle
