View Full Version : Chip/Crack in Windshield

I already PM'd Jeff to see if he has a guy but I figure I might as well ask everybody here also.

My wife just called and said that she was driving my car on the highway and a rock hit the windshield. Now there's a tiny crack/hole in the windshield. I haven't seen it yet but I'm hoping I can just fill it in.

Does anybody know a place I can take it to to fill in the hole (hopefully in the Steeles & Woodbine area)??


I saw this thread where 01mineralgt says he works for Speedy. Has anybody used him yet??

EDIT: Just talked to Jeff's guy and he'll do it for me on Saturday morning. Thanks Jeff!! I'll let you know how it goes.

EDIT: I just uploaded the photos. Is this something I should worry too much about?? I'll probably still fix it just in case but I just want to hear thoughts on it.. these are the best photos I could get.

oh yeah?? even for such a small chip/crack?? well, the earliest I could go is tomorrow morning so hopefully it doesn't spread.. it didn't look too bad yesterday..

first my wife's AC won't turn on in her car and now this all within a week.. funny thing is she was driving the 2 different cars at the time it happened..

The fix went well. Serge is a nice guy. Just too bad that I didn't get a chance to chat with him that much since he was constantly busy (being a Saturday and all). I'll definitely go back if I run into any more issues with my windshield (heaven forbid that it should happen again).
