Well, 3S karts in Sutton used to have fixed power (non-shifters) rental karts that would go 80kmph on the normal rental track set-up. They'd hit 90kmph if you changed the track configuration to open it up a little more. However, they have since sold all of their rentals to focus on the Stars Of Canada series, so they are no longer an option. Which sucks, as I used to put together track days for friends and co-workers running the rentals and my wife and I used to kart there all the time.

Most places will simply not let you take out shifter karts, as they simply cost too much money and are way too dangerous for non-karters to just step into and drive. Mosport used to offer a day program for time in a shifter kart that also included some training. It was expensive though.

You can also do shifter karting and other driving experiences through a company called 'TryThat'. They also do a lot of other type 'unique' experiences. You will have a blast. Just be careful though. Shifters will go from 0 to 100kmph in a little under 3 seconds.
