You're not missing out... Tastes like slightly malted water with lime flavouring. The stuff I pass out of my kidneys, has both more alcholol content and I'm sure, probably tastes better too. Not that I'm willing to try a sampling...:chuckle.

All bud light lime is is bud light with lime cordial in it. It is far too sweet to actially drink more than a 6 pack. I drank 7 in a row and I felt shyty after, had to switch to real beer lol hahaha

Yeah the LCBO at Yonge and 7 was completely out of stock on the bottles. Had to settle for 6 pack of cans. Good thing is that LCBO takes Air Miles.

MGD, Moosehead and Becks. I'll drink pretty much anything.

If you're ever at a bar that has Hoegaarden on draft, don't be shy to get it.

I love the pint glass Hoegarrden comes in.. haha.. just makes it looks massive but so good

Rickard's Red is just awesome.. and if you ever get a chance to go to Cuba, have Cristal - that beer is delicious

I like regular Keiths too and Guinness :)

I only drink Corona in the summer, it's a strictly patio beer for me. Keiths Red is awesome. As is the rare Keith's stout.

Corona is my social beer of choice. I like Keiths (regular or red) as an everyday beer, relaxation beer I guess (not that I drink everyday!) and Guinness is purely a pub beer. You can't buy the cans or the bottles from the LCBO and expect the same quality as is from tap.

The only thing wrong with Keiths is that Alexander Keith are Scott's middle names and there's no need to repeat it but those of you who know Scott (and still probably those who don't) can figure out where that's going. :P

I agreed with the above posted, Corona as a patio or in my case a cottage drink and near the lake. But as much as people say its a girly drink, honestly I just love the taste with a nice fresh green lime. You can't ever go wrong.

These are available at the LCBO and not the beer store currently.

I went to 5 Beer Stores and they all told me I will not find them anywhere this summer.

So I dropped in the LCBO for Corona's and I found a crap load of them!

LCBO is the only one with the License to sell then Canada. That is what I was told by the clerk at the desk.

I bought 4 cases of it. Loved the stuff.

i tried bud lime a few weeks ago, it was ok, i could enjoy it on a patio like a corona or a sol, a summer beer.

but if you want a good beer you must drink some weiss beers. that is what beer is all about! hard to find good ones here, Hoegarten is an example of what we have here it is tasty. you can get a G. Schnider and sohns at biere markt, but it is thier entry beer not there level 2 beer which imo is much better!

Surprised nobody has mentioned German Weisse beer's until now. Or for that matter, Belgian Trappist ales. In any case, most of the nicer LCBO's are carrying a good selection of Weisse beers right now.

Broli, try and get some 'Weihenstephaner Hefe Weissbier' . It is from the oldest brewery in the world and is the hardest of the Weisse beers to find in the LCBO, but also the best of them all, by far. Erdlinger and Erdlinger Dark are also pretty good. I know the LCBO in Newmarket carries 'Weihenstephaner Hefe Weissbier' but since I recently bought every bottle they had, they may still be out of stock. The LCBO in Markham by Woodbine and 7 also carries it and a good selection of other Weissbier's too.

BTW- Hoegaarden is a white beer, not a weissbier. Two entirely different things.

Lastly, I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Creemore Springs on here. Most mass market Canadian beers taste like lightly malted urine, but Creemore is the exception to the rule. Unfortunately, when Molson bought them, they farked around with the recipe and turned it into more of a pale ale, but Creemore just (re)introduced what they are naming 'Kellerbier', which in reality, is just the original version of Creemore. A very, very good beer, for those that like Beer to taste like beer.

Oh, and in England, only women drink lager with a dash of lime cordial. It is called a 'lager and lime'. Here, we now call it Bud Light Lime apparently. Yuck.

It is BUD LIGHT aka diluted pre-urine with lime flavouring.......geeez what a bunch of sheep.......

There are so many other primo lagers available such as Creemore, FAX 10% Extra, Grolsch, Heineken, Holsten, etc that has more flavour and can be enhanced with lime cordial or just a lime slice......
