It is an old stock basic lancer. I do not beleive that it was capable of doing 210km/hr. In which case I hope this guy beats the charge due to fudged evidence. Further more the 7 day suspension is enforced immediately without a court appearance (which I also believe is grossly unfair and a violation of due process). The suspect has a mandatory court date where both he and the crown can present evidence at which point if he is found guilty, he will receive a fine and determined suspension etc.

I'm not debating whether or not the car can go 210km/hr or not. The guy has already been caught and clocked at 210km/hr, so we know it is possible.

Our 3s are governed and I'd bet if they weren't, we'd hit 220kph+,...so I see no reason this Lancer could not do the same...Maybe it's a five speed! I once hit 225kph with my stock CRXsi 1.5litre, 5spd, mind you it was many moons ago and on the newly paved 'multi-laned' 404 Hwy, North of 7 @ 2 am in the morning, absolutely no traffic whatsoever!!,...This doesn't excuse me as I knew I was breaking the law but atleast it was a safer situation then what these mofo's are pulling nowadays...This idiot does it on a regular road with a posted limit of 80kph and weaving!!....he deserves whatever he gets.

The euro plate isn't centred, due to the gaping hole for the exposed inter-cooler. Paint that frickin' thing black! There's either a reflection or an extra scoop on the left side of the hood. The headlights look like a late eighties Japanese econo-box. The rear wing looks dumb the way it's high in the centre and rolls off to the sides. The panel gaps look way too big also.
