I recently traded in my rusted P5 for an 06 Mazda 3 GT Sport.

Ya, that was the worst of it - Drivers side Fender.

It started on the passenger front fender and then passenger rear fender.

Didnt get as bad, but rather then work on one fender replacement, I was looking at 3.
For the value of the car, it wasnt worth it to me. And I couldnt turn down the dealers trade in offer either (Was VERY reasonable given the rust on the car)

Ha Ha. I did love the blue P5 and thought about getting the same colour in the 3....but I wasnt a fan of it on the 3 as much as I was on the P5 (no offence to your colour choice :))

It's definitely a fun drive. And unlike the P5, I will definitely be looking to rustproof it this time around, to prevent the same fate my P5 suffered.

Question - looking to get the CX-7 Stubby. Do the vendors sell this upgrade? or do I just have to order it from the stealership?

Mods planned: Rims (of course), springs, tints, HID's, and an exhaust. The rest of the Mods will surely come into place later, but this is what I want to start off with first.

Sorry to see that kind of rust on your P5...I think Mazda 'pre-rusts' their body panels to see how quickly they can completely rust. It's an experiment being carried out jointly between NASA and Mazda.
