View Full Version : Hail storm in Brampton

We just had a hail storm in Brampton, lasted for around 2 - 3 minutes. My car is parked outdoor at work, needless to say, I am concerned. I haven't had a chance to go check it out yet. :bang Kinda pissed, as I usually don't work on weekends..

Anyone else got caught in the hail storm tonight?

$h!+ I feel you too, mine is sitting outside as well, have to wait for this storm to pass to check it out, I'm crossing my fingers.

i was in mississauga at the meet and all of a sudden the sky was getting black..sadly for me i had to drive through it to get home..some spots were really bad especially driving from eglinton & hurontario to renforth & eglinton..normally it takes me 10 mins but this took 30 mins. that storm is horrible.

The storm is heading my way (Winston Churchill / Burnhamthorpe), getting pretty loud.

From the sound of it, I am not holding high hopes. As soon as the storm calms down a bit, i'll go out and have a good look.. :(

Alright...went out and checked, the car seemed alright. I can't see any visible dents yet anywhere on the car. However since it doesn't have proper lighting, I wouldn't say for sure until the sun comes out..

dirty bugger i was at the amplitheater for the nickleback concert...pelted with hail and rain wearing a poncho hahahah it was freaking awsome....they cleared everybody off the lawn (where i was) and the majourity of us all packed under the roof....BUT nickleback didn't come out...and they cancelled the show....bastards!

crazy storm, so much lightning, and got to witness the cn tower get struck violently by lightning first hand!

That's awesome, would have been cool to see.... after the rain stopped i drove down to the beaches with my gf, sat on a bench and watched the light show... Haven't seen anything like that in a long time!

Checked the car last night and it seemed fine but the lighting wasn't great either. Took a look this morning and everything seems to be good, thank goodness!

Took a good look this morning, it seems fine! I am surprised that Mazda paint can hold up against a hail storm, given we all know how bad it usually is.

I am not complaining...though. :)
