Are you looking to put decals on your car? if so you must clean all wax off and grease off car before installing any decals or it will not stick.

Use windex to clean the area where you are installing the decal...then leave it for a couple days and then wash, clay, and wax your car.

Yeah its best applied without wax or any sealants. I would Wash > Clay > Decals > Wax

Just becareful as wax can buildup around the decals.

do it this way

Wash -> Clay - >Wax -> -> wait next day -> wash -> Decals

your best to protect all the paint first, then apply the decals. or else you will get that 2 tone effect when you take it off as one surface was detailed and not the other one.

If you use a sealant wait next day at lease. if just wax, wash the car Or just the surface where it will be applied and you should be good :)

I would recommend putting the decals on last...after sealing the paint with a wax or synthetic sealant. Reason being, how many people actually leave the decals on for the length of ownership? My guess would be minimal, if that. Sealing the paint first means easier removal in the future as you won't have to deal with residue embedding itself into the paint. That doesn't mean that the decals will fall off themselves though.

You would be better off polishing the paint to make it level, then seal, then decals.

It's really your call, but I would personally rather seal my paint and put the decals on after.
