Hey ,

So with all my post saying I have nothing wrong with my car..... I hit the brick wall :bang... I constantly use my "tip-tronic" while I drive in the city. Last night I switched the car from auto to trip-tronic and heard this loud screeching sound . Now this wasnt when I was breaking but steering . I let the car sit for a bit. Started it up went for a drive (30 mins later) and just used it in "AUTO" . No issues cracked the steering left and right , did hard breaks. Nothing no sounds (wanted to see if the sound was based on steering). I than switched to tip-tronic again and there is the sound. Anyone else have this issue? I'm running an 06 gx sedan about 70,000kms . I've done all routine checkups minus transmission flush. I feel like an :AH saying my car is this old an no issues...... yup karma is a bitch.

That's weird, I would take it to the dealer to get it checked out. Your car should still have drive train warranty. Check with Karen @ Agincourt if you're in the East End. Joe/Jeff if you're in Central Toronto. Lastly but not least, Andrew if you're in the West end.

you think it could just be a loose belt? You'd think I'd still hear the sound when I'm in D (drive) ... it's friggin odd......
