Shifter Weight

anybody attempt driving without the shifter weight? downside? better shifting?

Im still annoyed at this cars shifter. Im trying to figure out ways to improve shifting on this car. Ive ordered the Corksport Urethane Engine mount inserts to help stiffen it up a bit. Ive read that it improves shifting quite well.

I removed my shift weight for a couple weeks but didn't like the feel and since reinstalled it. I found it to be a little too light and "toy" like. Plus when it still did crunch going into 2nd when the car was cold it seemed to be amplified with no shift weight. I had thought of trying the Cobb weight, which I think is roughly half.

For the time it takes though try it out for yourself. My friend likes his this way.
