Proud new Mazda3 Owner!

Hi Just wanted to introduce myself. After 28 years of public transportation I finally got fedup and bought my first car! I'll be honest when I went looking I didn't even consider a Mazda. I was set on getting a VW, Civic (pre-06) or some ol' shit-beater. Mazda wasn't even on the list of potentials (don't ask why). When I saw the new 2010 Mazda3, it was love at first sight. The look of it is just incredible. I couldn't eat, I couldn't sleep! I found what I wanted and wanted nothing else. In April 2009, I finally found my new baby, seems almost new 2006 Mazda3 GT with 64K.

I don't follow. Did you get what you wanted? The 2010 and the 2006 are quite different.

Sry, guess I didn't explain that very well. The 2010 Mazda3 GS or GX is what I wanted originally but I really didn't want to pay so much for my first car. I bought a 2006 Madza3 GT.

And yes, I do realize that there are big differences between the '06 and the '10. But I don't regret for a second getting the '06.

Congrats. This was almost exactly my story.
I was forced to consider Mazda after looking at the 2010 model. I was thinking of going for it but in the end i decided it would be a bit pricy for me. Then i got an 06 GT. Definitely don't regret it.

But yeah it's a lot of money just thrown away!

It's good to be here came across the site by complete chance! I had no idea that there were so many people who were so passionate about their Mazda's. Had NO Idea!

I'll never regret buying my '06. If I had a couple more years exp. driving I probably would've bought the '10.
