I got a new laptop not too long ago, the resolution on it is 1440 x 900 so under normal DPI setting at 96 DPI makes things impossible to see.
So I've been using 120DPI or 125% increase since I got it but it was still hard to see somethings on a 13 inch laptop so I tried 150% increase I think it was 144DPI but that made things look messed so I changed back.
But now I realize all my programs that are in the bottom right that start with windows are all fuzzy looking. Ex. Msn looks out of focus
Any ideas?
Why don't you go back to the native resoltuion of the laptops screen? Is it too difficult to see or something?

Depends what you mean by "impossible to read". Is everything blurry or is it too small?

Its too small at 1440 x 900 at 96 dpi which is the default. I used 120 DPI since day 1 of getting it and never had a problem until I changed to 140Dpi.

Try lowering the resolution? That should make everything bigger (but you lose space on screen)

you have to realize if you switch from a native res of 1440x900 expect things to get fuzzy to a certain degree..
The picture of an lcd screen will not be the same if its not run at native res.
Just get use to it lol..

I know, but its just that I never had this problem before it just happened after I played with the DPI.

If you are still having issues take it back to the place where you bought it, or a computer repair shop, maybe it could be a simple fix..?
