Avante would like to announce the arrival of the 2010 Mazda 3 Speed.
An absolutely amazing Crystal White Pearl model arrived at the dealership yesterday.

Now here is the great news!

Avante is going to have that vehicle available for test drives starting Thursday August 27th. We invite all Mazda enthusiasts to come and see this incredible car in person.

This vehicle was designed as a speed model from the beginning and from the hood to the grill to the rear spoiler this is all 100% Mazdaspeed.

We have 8 in total coming and this car is sure to be in high demand once the general public sees it.

I will guarantee you it is worth the drive to see it in person.

Make sure you identify yourselves as forum members when you come in.

Plenty of reviews talked about some difference between them. I bet you the dealer knows as much as we all do on papers. The reviewers had a chance to abuse the car already ;)

I dunno, it does have more features to it but I still can't get around the looks, I dont mind the new design on the regular 3 but with so much more "Mazdaspeed" features the new look just doesnt seem to flow

Is there age requirement to test drive?
Lease coming up next year, interested to see what the speed has to offer.

I've driven a couple around the block but it's friend's cars so I didnt push it any.

I want to know what I am missing.. =)

i'm neither for it or "totally" against the new look
if i had to compare i still think the old speed 3's are better/cleaner and sharper and more "aggressive"

this one is just too round
makes the car look soft....
the hood vent doesn't really compliment the bumper and front end...

peice by peice.. i think the car is fine
but on a holistic approach. i find the car lacks flow and a clear image/message

but that's just me... i do however like the interior much more... other than the steering wheel haha

true, pics can lie.... online dating is proof, but normally the ugly chicks don't pleasantly surprise you when you do meet up. usually turns out that was their best picture from 10 years and 150lbs ago but +1 to hope for the new ms3

Regardless of what is said about its styling, i think the car looks beautiful (or else i wouldn't have gotten it). Drives really well compared to my 05 GT (Obviously). Can't compare it to the 08/09 speed 3, but it doesn't really matter. Car is just fantastic... I've had a permasmile since i was handed the keys!!

Yup :)

0% For 3 years if i'm not mistaken... If you can put a good chunk of money down it's worth it... otherwise with the owner renewal, you're looking at 1.9 for 48 or 60... which isn't bad at all

39 grand for a speed 3.... I'll pass and get my self a WRX STI leased or even a merceds c63 amg , not feeling the 40 grand price tag , same 2.3 liter engine as before, they shoud have at least pumped the hp to 285 instead of 263 and the torque to 300-310,

cheapest you'll find a new sti for after rebates is 40k + freight, taxes etc.

Sorry to take this off topic. But mazdas3sporte have you even looked at what a WRX STi, evo or M3 even go for. All 3 of those are in the. 50+ k range new. You say you wouldn't dish out 39k(tax in btw) but u would spend (oh I don't know) 30k on a lease for any one of those cars (even higher for an M3. Those are not cheep cars to buy) your logic is flawed. All I am saying is. Take the time to properly inform yourself before commenting or else people (like me) will take the opportunity to do it for U. In the end. This doesn't make it look good for u.
Btw, if u see a car like a M3 on auto trader going for around 20k (more or less) and they are only a few years old. That is because the owners want to unload them to someone else before they loose anymore money. Those are called money pits.
Don't forget about Murphy's Law. "if it sounds too good to be true...."

So I was driving by Westowne Mazda and noticed that they had a 2010 Speed 3 in red. Stopped in asked if I could go for a test drive, and they tossed me the keys! After driving it, I have to say that I was very impressed! Still not liking the Styling too much, but the car drives really great! The power doesn't feel as harsh, definitely a car to check out. But after driving both cars I prefer the 1st gen. Only thing I really like more about the 2010 is all the extra entertainment features.
