Well, it happened. First scratch on my 3 and well, it's not a little one.

Not getting into it too much but my wife had a run in at very low speeds with our garage. End result is a dent a little longer than a mazda key on the top of the hood and some small surface scratches in the plastic bumper. I cleaned off the paint that was transfered. The dent seems to only be in the top level of metal in the hood meaning when you open the hood it looks like nothing happened from the underside.

Was wondering where I should go to get it fixed, how much, who's good etc...I know there is a dent puller here but not sure if this is his sort of thing...

Also, the passenger side panel around the headlight has popped a bit as seen in the last pic, what should I do about that?

pics for your enjoyment :) and no, I didn't cry :P

Any help would be great! Thanks guys...I'll be okay.

You should check some local body shops to see what they can do for you

Ouch that hurts - have you tried Kevin the dent guy? He is good and would very likely be able to get that out - as for the scratches, not sure what you can do other than to repaint it if it is really an eye sore for you - do not use touch up paint it looks terrible (from other 3's that I have seen it applied to).

Wow, pretty extensive damage for low speeds! Hopefully someone can hook you up with a good deal to get that fixed...

Thanks guys, I'll give Kevin and jim a call...

The old case of hit the gas instead of the brake with crying baby in back...Our garage is wood, the corner was pushed back about 2 feet except for one piece which didn't move at all and resulted in denting the hood...

Could've been worse I guess.
