The guy claimed it is pretty common to have this done in Japan and it lasts a few years.

Has anyone tried this? Do any of the sponsers have any idea how much it would cost or if you can get it?

I have symtech on my 15 year old toyota van (bought new)... still barely any rust... there's under chassis rust in some places but thats to be expected after so many years... the paint still looks good despite it being parked outside for years... only a couple of spots peeled off (and touched up)... the roof looks good still too
