Ok folks,
Last time I was on the X-Files Mix Show (http://www.torontomazda3.ca/forum/showthread.php?t=36414) with Jester & Kid Kut. Now, I'm featured on DJ Apocalypse's "APOCALYPSE NOW! Vol.1" (http://www.djapocalypse.com/site/category/media/) mix CD which ushers in his new website. :)
If you don't know DJ Apocalypse, he's one of Toronto's most creative DJ's and he's been rockin' crowds ever since I first heard him (10+ years). One listen to his mixes and you will be in shock and awe - guaranteed!
So grab this free mix CD (http://www.djapocalypse.com/site/category/media/) (download) for your iPod or MP3 player. I won't be held responsible for heavy gas foot syndrome or speeding tickets cuz this mix will make you drive faster lol! :chuckle

Keep an ear open...there's more to come! :pop

downloading now. One thing though..the download combines all tracks into one large MP3. If you could split them up, and then zip them..or something similar..that would be nice.

+1 on that. It's annoying if you don't like a song you gotta wait it out.
Listening now.. it's a little 'loud'. Too many effects and little noises along with the beats. Not usually my style but still giving it a chance. :)

Not a bad tracklist but some of the transitions and blends are excruciating to listen to as they dont even blend well with the other/next song... ? It gets confusing lol and yes, too many weird electronic sounds... LOL maybe I'm being picky..

I wish that were possible. The only way would be to cop the actual CD and rip them separately. :complain

Nah, not picky. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. This is how it goes when the DJ specializes in "mash-ups". Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. Overall though, I think the CD's got good energy and a high booty shaking factor. :chuckle
Thanks for listening guys, I'll forward your comments to Apocalypse. :)

Not bad... the beginning was not my cup of tea, but it picked up towards the middle and end. Good tunes to work out to.....

Could have been worse. Could have started with Celine Dion.
