the prokit are on my 2010 m3 GT right now. would they still fit if i transfer them to the speed?
I'm not sure if it will work or not..their is two different part numbers
For mazda 3 it's 5545.140
and for the speed it's 5549.140

I believe there's different part numbers due to the weight of the speed's front end. I wouldn't recommend putting those springs in a speed. They would fit but would not perform correctly.

actually several members who have Speed 3's have put the regular Pro Kit's on Speed 3's without issue.
Ask MPS, I know he had them on at one point.
At $30 or so difference, I would just get the set for the speed. That's what I got.

Hmm good question. If you think about it, they should fit (as MPS has proven). The springs for the 3 are interchangeable with the Mazda5 correct? If DIMA can put Speed3 springs on a 5, and you can put springs from a normal 3 on a 5, then springs from a 3 should be able to go on the Speed3. But just because they CAN fit, doesn't mean the should. As it has been said, I think the weight up front may cause a problem with the different engine.

Well, there's COBB springs which are specifically made for the speed

There are also Tein S-Tech specifically for the Speed3. I believe H&R also has springs specifially for the Speed3.

yes H&R makes springs for speed 3.... that's what i am running right now....i've put 10,000 kms on them and they are still perfect (nothing blown).... if you want to see shoot me a pm......tein sags too quickly....i recommend getting eibach, cobb, or h&r..... cant go wrong with them
old thread, but question about the pro-kits.
this thread was started a while ago, so wondering who's running these springs now and what do you think?
I see what the stated drop is but what is the actual drop? Do you guys find it to be too mild?
I'm trying to figure out what to do suspension wise. I want the car dropped, probably at least 1.5 inches and don't want to go with a set up that is so mild that you really can't even notice the difference.
thoughts?

I ran the eibach pro-kit for about a month, personally I did not like the springs at all, the ride was soft and floaty.
