Right now we are thinking of, Rabbit, Cooper, Fit, and Versa. Any opinions? or recommendation of other cars?

Thanks

can't go wrong with VW! I'd say go with the Rabbit.... Coopers are $$ (expensive) but decent cars not sure how they handle in the winter..

Friend of mine hated his Fit and traded it in for a civic. I test drove a Versa .... loved the room inside, but wasn't a huge fan of the lack of power and exterior design.

do you really need the versa than? (if you don't have kids ... I'd kick the versa off your list) The fit is nice... I'm 6'4" AND found it smaller inside than the mazda3. The cooper would be an awesome addition for you both... but you may end up stealing it once and a while (they are fun as hell to drive ) ... best thing is reviews and lots of test drives.... also compare prices/options and truely look what your wanting. Good luck with finding something and post up lots of pics when you do make the jump

20 year old couple leasing cars? At that age things are still not final, I'd be careful about these types of decisions. Buy her a used car to start maybe?
