Hey does anyone here have an opinion on putting in a cold air intake and an exhaust system in their mazda 3 automatic? Shared car with girlfriend, is it really worth it......?

- performance?
- sound?
- worth the coin in terms of HP gain?
- brands?

pretty much all the above, i know there wont be signifcant improvements. I was gunna go magnaflow (ex) and K&N 9cai) reccomendations?

Mine is auto, since i put the F5, i keep using trip. Which sound good and give you more power, and yeah its worth it.

Hmm .. if you gf drives it aswell then id suggest just CAI. Im running Fujita f5 and pretty happy with it, but havent tried anything else. But since ur gf is driving make sure you put a cover over your filter so she doesnt soak the poor filter.

Wouldnt worry about exhaust unless its your own car imo.

well as long as she doesn't drive into a river or a huge pot hole full of water i think it'll be fine without a hydroshield.
