I've been waiting for about 2 months for my 2010 CWP Sport GT to arrive (long story) and last night it finally did!
I've only put on about 120 km so far but my first impressions are very good! It is just a sweet ride.
We have an 04 (which we love) as well and in just a few years, this car has come a LONG way.......
I really like the front end on this car. I know there are a lot of haters out there, but to me, it really makes the car stand out from the crowd in a good way.
The ride and handling is really nice, although I haven't really pushed it yet, it really feels nice if you are on some twisty bits in the road, and I found that it soaks up the bumps even better than the 04.
I had read some of the reviews complaining about the road noise, but to me I think it does a nice job of filtering this out.........
Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself, been lurking on this board for some time and have really found a lot of great info here.
Looking forward to adding a few mods like tint ASAP! And will certainly be using the sponsors whenever possible.
Here are a couple of pics:
This car makes everyone smile!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am still waiting for mine, which has been sitting in vancouver at the car port ever since I paid my deposit...
Complete and utter crap that we have to wait so long for our cars. Apparently my dealer called Mazda Canada on Thursday, and it was to be loaded on a rail car that day, or the following day. I am supposed to call Monday or Tuesday to confirm this. it will be another 10-12 days before it arrives at the Toronto car port. It has been just over 4 weeks so far...it'll be at least 6 weeks in total. Completely ridiculous. Luckily my dad works for CN so if my dealer can get the railcar number my car was (hopefully) loaded on he can track it all acorss Canada.
On another note...sweet ride!!!

I can feel your pain. When I first bought the car, they tried to locate one locally and there were none available, so I could either choose another colour or wait for one that they had reserved that was supposed to be on the boat "as we speak". I wanted this particular colour with the 6spd and a moonroof. They told me it would be about 2-2.5 weeks, so I decided to wait. It "should" have arrived around July 30 or so, but when that date rolled around, no car! It finally arrived in port early in August, and sat waiting to be loaded onto the rail for about a month! Once it finally got rolling, the whole thing was just over a week until delivery, so hang in there! You won't be disappointed. The more I drive this car, the more I like it!

Welcome to TM3! Grats on the ride and love the first pic haha
Thanks! I have been enjoying the site for a while, mostly drooling with envy each time someone posts the pics of their new rides. Now it's finally my turn.
Yes, my daughter is pretty used to having the camera lens pointed in her face! She is quite the ham sometimes!

Your truck probably wasn't even built yet. Mine was sitting for over a month waiting for a train.
My parents ordered a 2009 Rav4 Sport V6 wit leather...none were avail in their colour...so they built it and delivered it in under 3 weeks. I realize The Rav4 is built close to here but man...a month is a looong time for a car to get put on a train.
Not Mazdas fault, but it still sucks. I didn't have to wait nearly this long for my company 2009 dakota, and it had to go to vanteriors to get outfitted before delivery.

How long did it take to come in? They told me mine was going to be here in 5-6 weeks. that was 2 saturdays ago...but it seems like an eternity.

I'm still waiting, in 2 more days (sept 24th) will be exactly 6 weeks since I got my VIN, today is exactly 6 weeks since I paid my deposit.
I do however expect a call this week to arrange delivery, it has been on rail since Monday, Sept 14th.
Again, this is NOT Mazda's fault, just an unfortunate circumstance. Just wish I knew ahead of time...might have bought another car, I had a few very close second choices as far as a new vehicle went, some were on the lot too.

Thanks for all of the welomes everyone.
pacman33 and spicedrice: Keep your fingers crossed...... The wait is frustrating I know. It's like when you were a kid waiting for Christmas.......
It seems like the entire auto industry's logistics systems are messed up. I have a buddy that went through this exact thing when he was waiting for his Caliber to be delivered, so we are not alone.
I have nearly 2000 KM on the car now and am really enjoying the vehicle, so IMO, the wait is well worth it.

I know it will be. Today is exactly 6 weeks from getting the VIN and no car yet...again not Mazda's fault, just a major bummer!
