I did download the demo and had fun and think its a great game so I picked up a copy last night as EB games opened at midnight lastnight (this morning)

nice quite the rivalry in here...... but I have to say the Bleu Blanc et Rouge gonna make up for that poor excuse of a season last year... and gonna make up for blowing the centennial season!!

I wouldn't count on it. If they make the playoff's, I will be very surprised.

Yes, I am biased, but trying to be as much of an impartial hockey observer as possible, I hate what Gainey did in the off season and I think this year's edition of the Habs are a smaller, somehat more skilled and faster version of last year's team, but with a much worse defence and lacking in overall team depth and toughness. Guess we'll find out soon enough and in the end, it all comes down to Price anyway.

In any case, I'm a Habs fan here..I'm curious to see how they do with this "revamped" team Gainey has put together..

I'm also looking forward to see how the Leafs shake out with a new defensive corps and a healthy Toskala.. I still think they need some offense..

Wow thats harsh lol...... If Gionta and Gomez can light it up together like they did before and Camilleri heats up again... watch out..... besides the Kostitsyn brothers are gonna do real well as well Plekanec..... their grinder line will be good with the addition of Moen.... as for their defense... while they lost the leadership of Schneider and the blocking ability of Komisarek... Spacek, Gill and Mara add size and experience to the blueline... throw in Gorges, Hamrlik and Markov.. and you got a great D corps as for the Goaltending... either Price or Halak will step up....

This team looks alot like teh team of 86 small and talented up front and large and in charge in the back.... In Gainey we trust!!! They will make up for their lack luster performance last year... Gainey took the team in a new direction... cuz obviously the team wasn't working...

As for the leafs... good goaltending as long as Toskala doesnt get hurt... we see how the monster does.... Great defense corps... and still a marlies offense... leaf fans should hope boston parts with Kessel... but I think Boston gonan hold on to him till trade deadline when teams are gonna need the help more....

But...

I've given up predicting what outcomes will happen each year. Things change so much and the skill level between each team evens out more and more. I guess only time will tell.

and NHL 10 is probably the best sports game out there lol
