Ok,

So I got my h-techs installed today and my brother noticed that my CV Shaft is a bit effed up. He mentioned something about a bearing blah blah blah. I stopped listening when I heard Kaching! ($$$)

Then he called me back and said it should be covered under warranty. Is this true?

Also, will I get any flack from the dealership now that my car is lowered? Will they void the warranty?

they'll probably say your suspension installation damaged it

Yep, you'll most likely have a tough time arguing that one. I know you said blah blah, but what exactly is shot? Did the CV boot fail; did the seal fail; etc? What did your brother see? Oil everywhere?

No. He is saying that the bearing is gone, or something. I'm not sure really. He started talking and I wasn't listening cause I was annoyed about my car breaking now that springs on. There is no oil leaking. It makes a whirring sound when I drive. And the loose bearing, or broken bearing causes the whole arm to move. The rod that goes to the passenger side rotor. It shifts at the point in the middle, it's very wobbly.

Some dealers in the past have blamed excess stress on the suspension (lowering kit) the cause for the wheel bearing to go. I would approach it with caution as they may give you a difficult time. Hopefully not though. Where are you planning on taking it to have it replaced?

Sorry I know I was talking about the wheel bearing but they may use the same tactics when it comes to the CV shaft.

I was going to take it back to Ajax Mazda to have them look at it.....But Im on H-techs now so its very low LOL.....not hard to miss. My bumper also got scraped cause my brother like a dumb ass, didnt use discretion coming off the hoist after being lowered. Now im concerned that Mazda will cause the same grief in their shop.

Im supposed to be pleased with the end result of lowering my car.....now all i can think about is taking the springs out and just leaving it stock.....ugh

my driver's side wheel bearing went while i was on stock suspension. it also displayed the "wha-wha" sound and had a loose driver's side driveshaft.
