My 09 was egged on the rear quarter panel above the wheel, beside the rear window. Supreme Auto gave me a quote of 6 bills to repaint (likely with gold flecks). I would like to know if anyone has a detailer who might be able to do something for this (like carmedics perhaps) who is in the community. I'd like to give the business to a sponsor but at a reasonable price.

+1 on Kaval and 'Make It Shine'. At minimum, get him to look at the car and give you an appraisal as to whether he can help you, or whether you need to go to a body-shop.

^^^fawk...that sucks dude...it's almost like instead of just tossing the egg your way, they whipped it or mushed it into the finish...

Neither did I until I got egged, a few made it inside too.
I was at the skatepark on a hot summers night last year had my windows down was riding some people came by and egged a bunch of cars from their van and drove off. I didn't even see it go down.

that is from an egg.
thrown hard enough, when the shell collapses and breaks, the middle part collapses into that concentric pattern in the pic. because the shell is quite hard, with enough velocity, it'll scratch the paint right down to the primer.

^ What he said. We also have very thin paint (looking at your front end should tell you this).
My old BMW was egged and it just washed off.

One time some punks cracked some eggs and mixed it with water and put it into their super soaker water guns. They waited until we washed the card and then struck at night.
Now THAT stuff is hard to wash.
We knew who it was but could never prove it. :flaming

ever thought of revenge? ie, taking the valves out of all 4 tires one night, or posting bogus FS ads for their cars online, so they get flooded with calls...

taking out valves? that's too lame
if you want to make their life miserable, you need to slash the valve stems.. then they'll have to get the car to a tire shop so that they can take off the tires and put new ones in!

+!
They will have to pay for towing, plus removal of all 4 tires, plus reinstallation of all 4 tires.
Get a camera installed in your garage. You can pick up a set of 4 cameras with software and recorder from costco for like 299 or something. Well worth it.

The kids involved did not own cars at the time (too young to drive) so it was a moot point anyway.

Hope you don't mind me tossing in my 2 cents. The crescent shape as seen on the blue car above is usually the result of an egg. As noted earlier, eggshell is extremely hard and can easily chip your paint. The only way to fix this is at a bodyshop unfortunately. I've been detailing professionally for 17 years and have seen this kind of damage way to often and its always been from an egg.

I know the OP and spoke with him.
He took his car to the 'Dent Doctor' to remove some minor dings and they managed to completely remove the visible damage from the egg without bodywork. I assume they used some sort of mild scratch remover and then buffed over the area, but don't know for sure. In any case, I saw the car both pre and post and you simply cannot tell there used to be egg damage in the location. Whatever they did, it is an excellent job and the OP was thrilled.

Not for the person doing the act...
I hope I never have to find out how I would react in such a situation and whether or not I could keep a lid on what I would want to do to such a person.

Yeah, $600 to repaint a door is a bit much. I can also assist you (whether it be buffing or painting).
