View Full Version : I want a white mazda 3 sport!
Hi all!
So I've been on the hunt for my perfect Mazda 3 sport in white, for the past 8 months. I'm in the KW region and I have looked at .... a lot over the last little while.
My boyfriend is trying to convince me to look at other makes and models, which I have - but none of them impressed me as much as the Mazda 3.
I even have a few dealerships looking out for me as well.
Basically I'm looking for one in tip-top shape, low km's of course, that isn't an '04-'05 as apparently they have rusting issues in the wheel well. So I'm sticking to '06-'09 since I really don't like the new design!
It's quite frustrating, but once I find mine. I'm coming back here to post my photo of it :hawt

I have a 2008 GT all options riding on prokits & RX8's. If the price is right, who knows .
Ooh... really? Thanks Mazda Kitten.

Very nice. Except I don't know what "riding on prokits" are/is. I'd be interested if you're selling it (automatic not manual unfortunately.)

Best of luck on your search... and welcome! Only been here a week myself ;) I spent the summer looking for that perfect Black GT Sport that didn't have the crap beat out of it. Finally gave up and bought new from The Biz. No regrets.

Welcome to the club from a fellow KW member!
Have you checked Forbes? And Quality Sales on Manitou usually has some good ones....

Ah, the only problem is that I actually hate the re-design of the 2010 models.

Yes! I check them, but I find that they're a little on the pricier side of things. I have a guy from Forbes looking out for my perfect one. He's been pretty patient with me and notifying me of any '06's (hatches) and higher than come in. Unfortunately none have appealed to me yet.
I may check out one in Guelph tomorrow afternoon but it's an '05! (Even though I was told to stay away from them because of the wheel well rust, but apparently after reading on here a bunch tonight - a lot of the 3's have rust issues no matter the year.) Bah!

I had also been looking intensely the last few weeks for a 05 Sport GT in good shape with modest mileage, white or black, as my new "winter beater". After many searches and phone calls (turns out most of the AutoTrader and Dealer listings for the Mazda3's are not that current with many of the cars that matched my requirements being already sold or the cars were in rough shape) I lucked out and found a 07 White Sport GT with only 52K in absolutely perfect condition on Tuesday and made the deal on the spot. Was more money than I originally wanted to spend for a winter car but got a really good deal on it and it still has full warranty in effect until Mar/10.
Most of the Mazda dealers are asking ridiculously high prices compared to other reputable used car dealers, they want more money for 05 and 06 GT's than I paid for the 07, and they tend to have almost twice the mileage on them.
Good luck in your search, my advice is look long and hard and when you find something you are interested in act quickly. If you want to PM me I can tell you some of my experiences, good and bad, with various dealers.

Yes it's auto. I would have to see what its worth. It only has 40 K.

Yeah? I'm taking all the advise I can get. What's the deal with the 06's in your opinion? There seems to be hardly any 07-08s out because of it being newer of course... and whenever they're around they're ridiculously over priced imo.

Good find! Thanks for posting it Susan. I'm actually looking for an automatic transmission.
