So is it just me, or does the green cruise control light does NOT dim when you dim all your other inside lights? Same thing with the high beam indicator light.

You see, I live in the country, so there's no need for retina burning brightness from my indicators/controls. Green and blue light kill your night vision. Being an astronomer, I'm supremely happy that everything else gives off a red glow which preserves your night vision. With dark adjusted eyes, your daytime runners illuminates >150m ahead of you, and the deer and other astronomers are much happier.

Does anyone know how to dim these damn bright green and blue lights?

warning lights are not designed to dim
the only fix is to install a bulb that isn't so bright

Drat.

During the day, it's the right brightness. At night, it looks like I'll just have to put a sticky note over it or something. Either that, or reverse engineer the cluster and rewire the LEDs so that it's linked with the other lights, voiding the warranty. I guess I'll fire off an email suggestion for improvements in the future.
