CP-E SRI defect? [Archive]

Just bought a brand new CP-E SRI, and before I even opened the plastic bag, I notcied this.

Is this normal at all?

it's not smooth like other areas, I dont know if this will affect the performance or not.
Or its suppose to be like this.....:whoa...anyone have CP-E SRI can help me out here?

Looks like there was some spattering that's been ground off from when the tube was welded into the hole... shouldn't have any impact on performance at all.

i got a cpe-short ram.....and yes when i got mine it's all scratch up inside too...as long as there's no holes you'll be fine!!!! BTW this was also discussed at 24/7

I had some marks like that inside mine also. I just cleaned it up with some polish and it was all good. I don't think it's anything to worry about.

it looks like when they were drilling the hole, the machine slipped....@@
