Alright. Was planning on meeting kevcol74 at lunch on Tuesday (October 6th) since he's near the area and She_Prime decided to show up to.

If anyone else is in the general area and wanted to stop by no issues!

Place is called "The Shawson Grill" located at 1385 Shawson Dr., Mississauga, ON. Near Dixie & 401.

Plan so far is for 11:30.

For a brief glance at what they offer, here's a menu. Might be out of date but this was the last one we scanned at work.

I wouldn't consider it a "truck stop". Truckers eat there yes, but obviously other people do too. It's just not a fast food chain.

If you have a problem with going there, pick a new spot then...I've gone there a lot in the past and some people in my company go there weekly. So what if truckers happen to stop there. Truckers also stop at Wendy's and other fast food chains on occasion. It's a place to eat and it's close by.

Okay so how about something more decent than a truck stop and a Wendys. I propose Boston Pizza Dixie & Aimco. They do fast lunches, 15 minutes or free.

Alright. After checking with Kevin and Angela, I'm still going to keep it at the original place. This is originally planned as a quick meet/lunch to sell my cell phone and I only get 30 min for lunch.

If you want to come, great. If not, fine by me. I just figured I'd offer just in case anyone was in the area and wanted to come eat.

On the matter of the issue of it being a "truck stop". I don't consider it a truck stop but it could be differing definitions of what a truck stop is. Have you ever been there? I have and people from the shops and businesses around the area frequent it for a place to eat. The food is good, the place is clean and the people (last time I was there) were nice. To bad mouth a place or label it as something without having been there or just by the people that may visit the place is a bit rude.

Again, if you want to come, great. If not, that's fine. No one is forcing you.

LOL...Didn't know you were in the area. Would be nice to have lunch with others around the area. but like stated above, minimal time to do lunch for me.
