Battery Indicator Flashes Intermittently

Lately for the past 2 months, my battery indicator has been flashing. It probably has been flashing longer than that but I didn't notice it before but lately it has been flashing a lot more frequent. Usually it flashes twice and randomly it will flash twice again. Prior to this it would flash once every week or so but now it has become a daily thing.

Can any one shed some light to this? I have hella horns installed, HID fogs, intake, exchaust. I also have a vibrant strut but not sure if its related.

Thanks in advance! I just want to get some input before I bring it to the dealer. I mean if its related to my mods I would want to remove them before I bring it in.

Check your wiring harness that plugs into your MAF. I had a friend with the same issue. It turned out that 2 wires plugged into his MAF were torn. He also had an aftermarket intake. I guess the movement of the engine and not enough wiring caused the harness to pull on the wires.

It could also be your battery or altenator. I'm not sure how old your car is. My previous car had a battery that was going and it did something similar before the battery died.

+1 same thing happened to me + CEL light went on, turns out that 1 of the MAF wire was torn, so i solder it back together.
