Hello,
I have a 2004 3 gs sedan/ mt...runs fine except for an annoying squeak or creak that comes from the back..interior around the back window...I dont know maybe its a flexing of the car or maybe the plastic trim.
Does anyone else have this problem and or a fix?
Thanks.

ya I found that last week...my dealer was totally clued...anyway my car applies as it is one of those with the early serial numbers so I tried this fix and it didnt work.

It is coming from the glass...Ive talked to a couple of glass guys and they seem to have some info.
e.g. glass is not sitting correctly and rubbing against some plastic bumpers that line it up with body structure...also the urethane gasket that holds the glass in place may be a culprit...they are going to look at it tomorrow ..thurs. will keep you posted.

Good News!
It was the rear glass...there are a couple of plastic clips attached to the glass that align it to the body and they can wiggle and rub onto the metal body and make that creak...the solution is to cut away part of that clip from under the headliner...apparently clips are not required once the glass is set into place.
No more creak and squeak lol...zoom zoom!
This is the guy I found and he diagnosed and fixed it under 20 minutes!

sorry...no pics its all been done already...all I know is that they are 2 plastic clips attached to the glass (on the inside) along the top ...parallel to the headliner
