Hey everyone! Just wanted to wish you all a happy Thanksgiving.
We're all in different times and places in our lives. Some are in green pastures, some are climbing tough mountains. In any case, you can and will ALWAYS find something to be thankful for. It can be tangible, or even better, intangible.
For those in the "mountains" it can be hard, but often times it's the simple things that you can draw strength from. Here's a few to be thankful for:
You woke up and yawned (you're alive and breathing today)
You ate (you're not starving)
You walked up or down the stairs (you're not disabled)
You're reading this (you're not blind and you're educated)
You took a shower (you have water, electricity and a roof over your head)
You dressed your kids this morning (you have a family and you're providing for them)
Your friend texted or called to wish you Happy Thanksgiving (you're not alone and someone cares)
We say "Happy Thanksgiving" for a reason. Find something to be thankful for and you've found a reason to smile and be happy. :)
